The night is considered unsafe from the point of the defender, even in military tactics. Why, then, do those incapable of defending themselves go into the lair of the wolf?
Some hypocrites would say it women who lure men into forcing themselves upon them. A fallacy to justify the monsters. The women's commission, in reply says that these 'men' need to change their mindset.
Stupid part is, the mentally healthy gentry gets a bad name for something done by psychotic, sick bastards. And instead of focusing on the issue, people are playing a blame game.
No one wants to acknowledge the real battle here, no one tries to uproot these terrorists. Instead this society of hypocrites keeps fighting its own phantoms.
That is the one true reason these monsters thrive in the darkness, while dumb society tries to cure something that is not a disease. It is war. And wars need to be fought with impunity. These are war crimes, and they don't deserve justice, they deserve vengeance.
The only way to bring sexual assault and related crimes, is to strike terror into the hearts of the people who commit them. No matter how many times women's attire is blamed, it is the intentions of these 'men' that are to blame. And, the answer to these 'men' is not to blame there mindset, but to threaten them with the same harassment they put their victims through.
Physical assault or homicide can be accidental crimes, but it takes a lot more than simple provocative dressing to make a normal person to force himself upon a woman. It takes guts and unaccountability, and a total lack of respect for the personal freedom of others, especially women. It is not a mild attitude, but a fanatical level of commitment to cruelty to the weak and vulnerable. There is no correction for these 'men'. The world will definitely be a better place without them.
