On the 20th of September, Sujoy Banerjee, my friend of 5 years, business associate, and the man I considered close as a brother, ran away after committing financial and identity fraud on many of his neighbors, and other people in the local market.
He has not been found yet, but reports confirming his location keep coming from various parts of the country. I thought I was contributing to making the life of a person, whereas he took me for just another fool.
Now that he is gone, leaving a debt of 1.7 lakh rupees on my head, I still feel lighter. Atleast I don't have any moral dilemma of quitting on my business partner. Now I can create a much sharper program, in which people get paid when their work gets done.
I have not been attending classes for over a month, and that can jeopardise the whole operation for the 3-year diploma. But I will pick up on it, though there will be missed assignments and other issues.
I am under deep debt for the next 7 months at least, then the situation will start to improve. By the October of 2016, it should become manageable again, but till then everything is going to be very constrained.
