This blog has been lying dead for over a year now... that is a sad fact. But that also means this post is going to capture a year's worth of history! That is a sizable challenge for me, who can't even remember if I took breakfast or not at 11:00 am in the morning! Let's see what I can capture, and for Pete's sake hope that I am accurate!
The year 2014 was the 25th year of my life. By the ancient books of Hindu culture, it is my last year as a 'boy', and as I attain the age of 25, I will be a fully grown man. It means no one will forgive my silly mistakes, calling me a child, but rather look down upon me as a dumb guy. It will also mean that my presentation will be taken seriously.
The year started off well, with a job that brought in a considerable paycheck, doing technical sales at a well known company. However, I faced moral dilemma at this job as the promises made by me were not to be kept by the company, making me a liar and a cheat. I finally quit the job when I was forced to work the morning shift which I don't do, on the 10th of May.
I sat down to relax for a few days , then started looking for another job, which I found in the form of customer service for Barclays at BSS. Something when horribly wrong with my paperwork over there, and I had to leave on the 1st of August from there. They didn't even pay my salary for July. Those were tough times.
I looked and looked, but did not find a company to my liking, and at the end of August, went on to rejoin Convergys, the first large company I had worked with.
On the other side, in 2014 I invested in inventory at my friend Bunty's new store, but that went into loss, mostly, as the audience wanted stuff that was cheaper than what we were offering. Anyhow we still have the prints and are going to fabricate them into various garments for girls, and put them up on an online store.
I am still working on getting my e-commerce business started, but let's see how it works out, as I am still to see any real profits, but am working on getting it all more and more organised as I learn more about business.
