It's the middle of the year, and so far it has been one of the best years in recent memory.
Life is not too complicated, and despite major failures, nothing seems to be fatally problematic.
1. On the personal end, I am single, alone, sometimes desperate like a vampire that hasn't had the taste of blood in years, but mostly stable. I LOVE the idea of entertaining another girl, but this time, it has to be for good. I can't take another abrupt ending. So I stay away from girls till such time as I don't see a girl as the fitting candidate.
2. I am still aloof from most people in my extended family, but a lot of things have definitely changed between me and them. They have definitely started to respect me more, as they predicted me to be useless, but I make decent amounts of money in what I do.
3. It's my tenth month in the company I joined last year, which is where I started my career in support services. Things are going great here, my relation with my boss is great, and this means I can base my future on this job.
4. The future consists of raising the startup I registered in April 2015, and the 3-year diploma in Fashion Technology I am going to start since July.
5. On the business end, our attempt at raising a second store didn't survive, courtesy bad luck and bad management. Doesn't matter, my investment is still safe. This time the loss will be on Bunty. In fact, I have quit taking big losses since at least 2 years now, as I am already running a loss of a good 4-5 lakh. No Mas amigo, no mas.
The way forward is to focus on my e-commerce business. Currently I have 5 platforms coming up: 1. My home site www.silhouettefashion.co.in for boutique style and mid to high fashion stuff, 2. Amazon.in, 3. Flipkart.com, 4. PayTM and 5. Womaneeya
What I want to setup is a regular design house/export house style facility to create all types of clothing for working women. I also booked the domain www.sfnd.in for another store for Hosiery type of casual stuff like Leggings, Jeggings, Jeans, T-shirts and other stuff for a younger, bubblier audience.
In the next 5 years, if everything goes fine and it all works out, I will have enough money, power, clout and reach to bring down every nose that rose in my face.
At that point, I would like to go for further diversification. I will separate the media division of the company from the rest of it, and develop it as a full fledged studio to develop content for print and digital media, which will include videos for online distribution channels, Video games, TV shows, Movies as well as advertising when required. Also, I will venture into high tech agriculture and food processing. Those are faraway dreams for now though.
In my general theory of the struggle of life, there are 4 stages of life: 1. Survive, 2. Thrive 3. Dominate, 4. Rule. I currently see myself at the second stage, and unstoppable for the foreseeable future.
